As someone who travels with groups all year round, the Tianshan Express is one of my top three experiences! My friend and I have chosen a bunk double room with an independent bathroom, fully private, and no need to grab a public washbasin. The itinerary was arranged very reasonably, there was no rush, and the tour guide's explanations were also very detailed. Even the local folk stories were told very vividly, which is not the kind of group that just goes by the motions.

Along the way, we stayed in four diamond or four-star hotels rated online. Although Nalati and Jadengyu were rated as three diamond hotels, the rooms were spacious and had plenty of hot water. My friends and I stayed very comfortably without encountering any problems with poor hygiene or outdated facilities.
